[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] The Seoul Metropolitan Council (Chairman Kim In-ho) is supporting 500,000 masks and 60,000 hand sanitizers to protect the safety and health of vulnerable groups against infectious diseases, in collaboration with Kim Ho-jung's mask brand Linglobal Tech and musical actress Jung Sun-ah.
The Seoul Metropolitan Council held a donation ceremony for quarantine supplies for COVID-19 vulnerable groups on the morning of the 24th at 10:30 a.m. in the chairman's office of the council, together with Linglobal Tech, musical actress Jung Sun-ah, and the Seoul Community Chest of Korea.
Attending the event were Kim In-ho, Chairman of the Seoul Metropolitan Council; Park Seung-chul, CEO of Linglobal Tech; Jung Sun-ah, musical actress; and Kim Yong-hee, Secretary General of the Seoul Community Chest of Korea.
This event was promoted after Linglobal Tech and musical actress Jung Sun-ah expressed their intention to donate quarantine supplies such as masks and hand sanitizers to contribute to COVID-19 prevention to the Seoul Metropolitan Council.
Linglobal Tech is a company that produces thermometers, masks, and other products based on excellent technology and high reliability. They regularly carry out various social contribution projects together with trot singer Kim Ho-jung, who is the model for their masks.
Musical actress Jung Sun-ah debuted in 2002 with the musical "Rent" and has been called the "Beyonc? of the musical world," starring in various productions and receiving much love from audiences.
The donated quarantine supplies will be delivered to COVID-19 vulnerable groups such as low-income families within Seoul through the Seoul Community Chest of Korea.
Park Seung-chul, CEO of Linglobal Tech, who attended the event, said, "On Christmas Eve, upon hearing that neighbors around us need help due to the resurgence of COVID-19, we immediately decided to support. I hope the quarantine supplies donated today will help overcome COVID-19 even a little."
Actress Jung Sun-ah shared her donation thoughts, saying, "I want to be a warm support to neighbors who are struggling due to the cold winter and COVID-19. I hope today's sharing will lead to even greater sharing."
Kim Yong-hee, Secretary General of the Seoul Community Chest of Korea, said, "I hope this donation will help vulnerable groups overcome COVID-19, and the Seoul Fruit of Love will continue to promote various social contribution projects to provide necessary supplies to neighbors in need."
