According to 'Opinet,' the oil price information service of the Korea National Oil Corporation, as of the afternoon of the 25th, the nationwide average gasoline selling price was recorded at 1,403.08 won per liter. This is an increase of 4.65 won from 1,398.43 won the previous day.
The nationwide average gasoline selling price at gas stations exceeding the 1,400 won mark is the first time in about 9 months since it recorded 1,403.83 won on March 29.
Due to the rise in international oil prices following the development of the COVID-19 vaccine, domestic gasoline prices have been steadily increasing.

The nationwide average diesel selling price for vehicles also rose by 4.4 won from the previous day to 1,203.7 won. The diesel price surpassing the 1,200 won mark is the first time in about 9 months since March 30 of this year.
