Dead Minke Whale Found Off Yeongdeok, Gyeongbuk... Sold for 33 Million Won on the Same Day
A dead minke whale found about 5 km southeast off Chuksan Port, Yeongdeok-gun, Gyeongbuk, in the early morning of the 25th.

After receiving a report from the fishing vessel captain, the coast guard examined the minke whale’s skin and appearance, measuring 4.8 m in length and 2.2 m in girth, and found no evidence of illegal capture. Accordingly, they issued a whale processing certificate to the captain.
