Starfield Goyang Opens Public Library 'Byeolkkum Library'
[Asia Economy Reporter Seungjin Lee] Starfield Goyang will open a public library, 'Byeolkkum Library (Grandma Bap Library),' on the 24th for local residents.
The establishment of this library was promoted to expand cultural enjoyment opportunities for local residents as Starfield Goyang's community partner. Starfield Goyang is showing a win-win approach by expanding its underground parking lot to accommodate 1,000 cars and subsequently establishing a public library.
Byeolkkum Library is a kids' content-specialized library focused on local children, located within Dongsan Kkotmaji Park near Starfield Goyang, and is expected to help enhance children's imagination and creativity.
The library consists of a general reading room, children's reading room, and community space, and is freely accessible not only to local residents but also to visitors of Starfield.
Operating hours are from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on weekdays and from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on weekends. However, operating schedules and hours may change depending on social distancing levels.
