Aekyung Industrial Delivers Briquettes of Love to Vulnerable Groups
5000 Briquettes Donated to Vulnerable Groups in Hong Eun 1-dong, Seodaemun-gu
[Asia Economy Reporter Yujin Cho] Aekyung Industrial announced on the 24th that it held a ‘Love Briquette Sharing Ceremony’ at the Hong Eun 1-dong Community Center in Seodaemun-gu, Seoul, together with Hope Sharing People to promote the culture of sharing at the end of the year.
At this ceremony, Aekyung Industrial supported 5,000 briquettes for vulnerable groups suffering from the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19). The briquettes will be delivered to vulnerable residents living in Hong Eun 1-dong.
As part of its sharing management with the local community, Aekyung Industrial has been conducting a briquette sharing event every year at the end of the year for 14 years since 2008, where employees deliver briquettes to neighbors in difficult circumstances in our society.
To practice its corporate philosophy of love and respect, Aekyung Industrial carries out various social contribution activities such as the Aekyung Industrial Hope Package Sharing event and Love Kimchi Sharing in cooperation with Seoul City, in addition to the briquette sharing event.
An official from Aekyung Industrial said, “We hope this winter, which is expected to be colder in body and mind than usual due to COVID-19, will be a little warmer for local residents.”
