Muan Fire Station Begins Special Guard Duty for Christmas and Year-End Holidays
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Oh Hwan-joo] The Muan Fire Station in Jeonnam (Chief Park Won-guk) announced on the 23rd that it will launch special alert duty to fully respond to the spread of COVID-19 during Christmas and the year-end and New Year holidays, and strengthen safety management at places expected to have large gatherings.
This special alert duty is scheduled to be carried out from the 24th to the 28th, and for the year-end and New Year holidays from the 31st to January 4th of next year. Mobile patrols will be conducted three times a day targeting fire-vulnerable sites such as traditional markets, and focused patrols will be conducted at Doripo Port, a famous spot for watching the sunset and sunrise.
In addition, an emergency dispatch response system will be established to prepare for mountain accidents during the New Year, and a 24-hour fire prevention monitoring system will be set up to actively support fire-related civil complaints, ensuring a safe Christmas and year-end and New Year holidays.
