On the 22nd, the Ministry of SMEs and Startups announced that Seok Nogi, CEO of Yeongju Blacksmith Shop, who entered Amazon with domestically produced agricultural tools, participated in the special marketing lecture "Small Business Owners Tomorrow ON" held during the "2020 Merry K-MAS Live Market" period.
"Small Business Owners Tomorrow ON" is a program that helps small business owners enter the online market to overcome the crisis caused by the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19).
Minister Park attracted attention by appearing on the broadcast that day. She said, "Digitalization is rapidly progressing in all areas of society due to COVID-19," and added, "Small business owners also need digitalization, such as entering the online market." She also delivered a message of support to small business owners, saying, "We will strive to ensure that valuable products from small business owners receive attention."
Mr. Seok, who was recognized as the main figure behind the "K-Homi" craze by recording sales of 10,000 units on Amazon this year, also emphasized the importance of pioneering new sales channels. Revealing the secret to his success in entering Amazon, he said, "Online sales, which we have been preparing for 10 years, shone even more due to COVID-19."
