Jangseong-gun Completes Distribution of '2nd Emergency Livelihood Support Fund' to Vulnerable Households
[Jangseong=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Jo Hangyu] Jangseong County, Jeollanam-do (Governor Yoo Doo-seok) announced on the 22nd that it has completed the payment of the ‘2nd Emergency Livelihood Support Fund for Crisis Households’ to 1,251 households in the region.
The Emergency Livelihood Support Fund for Crisis Households is a system that provides 400,000 to 1,000,000 KRW per household to residents experiencing difficulties due to COVID-19.
The recipients are low-income households whose income has decreased due to COVID-19, with a standard median income of 75% or less and assets of 300 million KRW or less.
The payment amount is determined proportionally according to the number of household members.
The county paid a total of 650 million KRW to eligible households according to the government’s 4th supplementary budget allocation.

A county official said, “We broadly recognized the reasons for crisis so that residents who find it difficult to objectively prove income reduction, such as daily workers, can also receive support,” and added, “We will continue to strive to support all residents experiencing livelihood difficulties without exception.”
