[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Chunsu] The Jeonnam Western Region Child Protection Agency (Director Bae Junyeol) announced on the 22nd that it held a meeting to establish a child protection system together with Wando County Office (County Governor Shin Woochul), Wando Office of Education (Education Director Kim Myeongsik), and Wando Police Station (Chief Kim Chansu).
The meeting was held with the attendance of Bae Junyeol, Director of the Jeonnam Western Region Child Protection Agency, Ahn Taeho, Head of the Women and Family Division at Wando County Office, Jeong Cheol, Education Officer at Wando Office of Education, and Park Taejun, Sergeant at Wando Police Station.
They shared the changes in the child abuse response system effective from October 1, 2020, and the current status of child abuse in Wando County, and discussed cooperation plans among institutions to facilitate child rights advocacy activities targeting island areas.
