On the 22nd, the Ministry of National Defense confirmed that one officer at a naval unit in Donghae tested positive after undergoing diagnostic testing due to a family member's confirmed case. Another officer classified as a contact of this officer also tested positive.
One Air Force civilian employee in Daegu was also confirmed positive after showing symptoms during self-quarantine following a family member's confirmed case. Additionally, one Army soldier in Paju tested positive after receiving diagnostic testing during pre-discharge leave in Andong, Gyeongbuk, where a family member was confirmed positive. Furthermore, one Army officer in Paju tested positive after diagnostic testing conducted before returning from leave.

Among them, 53 are currently receiving treatment, and 435, including 2 newly classified as recovered today, have recovered.
