Gyeongnam Province Strengthens Quarantine Inspections at Ski Resorts and Snow Sledding Parks
Public-Private Joint Team to Conduct Frequent Disinfection Inspections from the 21st Until Closing
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Saeyan] Gyeongnam Province is stepping up intensive quarantine inspections of winter sports facilities ahead of the year-end and New Year holidays.
On the 21st, Gyeongnam Province announced that it will conduct a joint public-private quarantine inspection at Eden Valley Ski Resort in Yangsan, which is set to open on the 24th.
The inspection will cover not only the ski resort but also condominiums, restaurants within the resort, and nearby ski equipment rental shops to check compliance with quarantine rules. Additionally, a full survey on long-term stays by club members will be conducted.
Among the nine sledding hills in the province, joint inspections by the province and city/counties will be conducted regularly until closing at six sledding hills planned to operate this year.

Meanwhile, to protect students' safety after the college entrance exam, the province is conducting special inspections of PC rooms and karaoke rooms together with the education office and police until January 15 next year.
