KAIST Hosts Korea's First VR Admission Briefing... Recruiting International Students
[Asia Economy Reporter Junho Hwang] Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST) will hold a virtual reality admission briefing session starting at 3 PM on the 21st. This is the first time among domestic universities to hold an admission briefing session non-face-to-face through a virtual campus.
The official name of this event is the Virtual EE Camp for the Department of Electrical Engineering. It is an event aimed at attracting top-tier students from foreign universities. Last year, 84 students from 12 universities across 6 countries including the Philippines, Indonesia, and China were invited to KAIST for the event.
This camp will be held through various online platforms such as the voice chat program Discord and the 3D virtual reality platform Mozilla Hub in a virtual studio. This time as well, students from 8 universities across 6 countries will participate.
