In this event, some department employees donated 300,000 won collected through small contributions, setting an example for other departments. Andong City explained that as the campaign performance this year was expected to be lower than usual due to the ongoing COVID-19, employees actively participated voluntarily to set an example.
Jeon Woo-heon, chairman of the Gyeongbuk Community Chest of Korea, welcomed the participation, saying, "The voluntary participation of Andong City officials will be a good opportunity to achieve healthy growth and development of workplace and corporate donation culture."
