The distributor Ace Maker Movie Works announced on the 18th that the release of the film 'Saehae Jeonya' (New Year's Eve) will be postponed. Originally scheduled to be released on the 30th, the schedule was changed due to the spread of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19). The press and distribution preview scheduled for the 22nd was also canceled. According to the Central Disease Control Headquarters (CDCH), the number of new domestic COVID-19 cases on that day was 1,062 (as of midnight). For three consecutive days, the number exceeded 1,000, following 1,078 on the 16th and 1,014 on the 17th. An official said, "Since this decision was made after much consideration, we ask for the generous understanding of those who have been waiting for the release." 'Saehae Jeonya' is a multi-cast omnibus-style romantic comedy depicting four couples a week before the New Year. Directed by Hong Ji-young, who also directed 'Gyeolhon Jeonya (Marriage Night)' in 2013, it stars Kim Kang-woo, Yoo In-na, Yoo Yeon-seok, Lee Yeon-hee, Lee Dong-hwi, Sooyoung, and Yoo Tae-oh.
