Support for Grandparent-Grandchild Families in Busan with Sales Revenue and Donations
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Sun-mi] Korea Housing Finance Corporation (HF) announced on the 18th that it held a donation ceremony for items and funds from employees and Beautiful Store at the Beautiful Store Myeongnyundong Station branch on Jungang-daero, Busan, to support vulnerable groups.
Prior to the ceremony, HF collected a total of 1,200 items including clothing, books, and miscellaneous goods from employees to donate to Beautiful Store in order to promote environmental protection and the proper culture of donation. Beautiful Store plans to use all proceeds from the sale of employee-donated items and the donations received on the day to support vulnerable groups such as grandparent-headed households.

An HF official stated, “We hope that neighbors who are spending a colder winter than ever due to COVID-19 will have a somewhat warmer year-end through the corporation’s sharing activities,” and added, “The corporation will continue to fulfill its social responsibility as a public institution through various social contribution activities.”
