Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering Halts Production at Okpo Shipyard Due to COVID-19 Cases
[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Jun-hyung] Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering announced on the 18th that it will halt production at all operations of the Okpo Shipyard due to confirmed cases of COVID-19.
Production will be suspended until the 20th to conduct tests on close contacts and implement measures to prevent further spread.
The sales revenue of the production suspension sector last year, based on separate financial statements, was 8.3176 trillion KRW, accounting for 99.5% of last year's consolidated sales revenue (8.3587 trillion KRW).
