Mercedes-Benz Officially Supports the 2020 League of Legends All-Star Event

[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Ji-hee] Mercedes-Benz announced that it will support the ‘2020 League of Legends All-Star Event,’ a global game event held for three days from the 18th to the 20th, as the exclusive official partner.
Starting with the 10th edition of the 2020 League of Legends World Championship last September, Mercedes-Benz has established a multi-year global partnership with Riot Games, supporting all global League of Legends esports events including the Mid-Season Invitational (MSI) and the All-Star Event. It was selected as the first official luxury car brand partner of League of Legends esports and related global events.
Under the motto of ‘Icon of a New Generation,’ Mercedes-Benz will wrap up the year of League of Legends together with the most popular active professional players, retired players, and influencers during the All-Star Event. It will also actively support various content production and the League of Legends community.
At the 2020 League of Legends All-Star Event, where the four major leagues compete, Mercedes-Benz will participate as the presenting partner and introduce the winning team in a dedicated broadcast segment called ‘Drive to Victory’ after the matches. During the All-Star Event, the Mercedes-Benz brand logo and the all-electric Mercedes-Benz EQC will appear in key visuals released through social media channels, and a 30-second commercial featuring the The New GLA and The New GLB will also be broadcast.
Mercedes-Benz branding will be applied to in-game arena banners on the map. On the 19th and 20th finals, a digital reward promotion for viewers will be held. Additionally, esports fans will be offered quizzes testing their knowledge of League of Legends, and fans who answer correctly will receive a luxury box engraved with the Mercedes-Benz brand.
