SK Rent-a-Car Provides Vehicle Management Solution 'SmartLink' to Gimhae City Hall
[Asia Economy Reporter Suyeon Woo] SK Rent-a-Car is expanding the provision of its integrated vehicle management solution 'SmartLink' to government offices following private companies.
On the 17th, SK Rent-a-Car announced that it has signed a contract with Gimhae City Hall in Gyeongsangnam-do to introduce the 'Shared Vehicle Integrated Management IoT System' for all general business vehicles currently in operation, and will jointly promote the project over the next year.
Through this project, Gimhae City Hall expects to improve the efficiency of managing shared vehicles. Until now, shared vehicles at Gimhae City Hall were managed by each department, requiring manual ledger entries and physically handling car keys, which caused inconvenience in reservation, dispatch, and usage status tracking.
SK Rent-a-Car will solve these issues through SmartLink. By converting the vehicle management operated by each department into integrated management, it creates an environment where vehicles can be used more flexibly according to driving frequency. Through the SmartLink mobile app, users can view vehicle reservations, dispatches, and usage status at a glance, and can also lock and unlock vehicles via the app. This reduces the inconvenience of face-to-face key handovers and concerns about key loss.
