Dongdaemun-gu Publishes Brand Book Featuring Local Creative Works
Production of the Youth and Career-Interrupted Women Creators Brand Book '2020 DDM MAKER MAGAZINE'... Launch of 6 Brand Experience Kits to Support Distribution and Sales Channels for Local Creators
[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Dongdaemun-gu announced on the 16th that the Dongdaemun-gu Social Economy Integrated Support Center (Director Choi Geun-young, hereinafter referred to as Dongsagyeong Center) has published the local creator brand book ‘2020 DDM MAKER MAGAZINE’.
‘2020 DDM MAKER MAGAZINE’ is a book that compiles the brands of young people and career-interrupted women creators in Dongdaemun-gu discovered through the DDM Maker Growth Support Program conducted by the Dongsagyeong Center in 2019. It contains photos of representative products and business details of local creators' brands in Dongdaemun-gu.
In addition, the Dongsagyeong Center is introducing a kit that allows people to experience brand products to support the distribution and sales channels of local creators.
The kit was produced to promote and utilize market research by containing representative products and prototypes of local creators' brands.
The components include a total of six items: ▲clothing from ‘Superworks Company’ ▲zero-waste ceramic mirror DIY kit from ‘Art Studio Yeoyu’ ▲ten-month diary from ‘Jaemijam’ ▲jogakbo bookmark DIY kit from ‘Korea Sharing Economy Cooperative’ ▲Fruits Parade Collection bag from ‘Sheero’ ▲jogakbo handkerchief from ‘Urijari’.
The Dongsagyeong Center plans to distribute the produced brand book to public institutions and influencers to promote the activities of local entrepreneurs in Dongdaemun-gu and advertise the brands.
