Dongmyeong University Students and Staff Receive Ministry of Employment and Labor Commendation for Youth Employment Supporters Activities

Student Kim Jae-woon from Dongmyung University and consultant Je Min-hee from the University Job Center received a citation and a letter of appreciation from the Busan Labor Office.

In the 5th Youth Employment Supporters category organized by the Busan Regional Employment and Labor Office, student Kim Jae-woon (4th year, Department of Management Information Systems) received a certificate of commendation, and university job center consultant Je Min-hee received a letter of appreciation.
From April to November 2020, Kim Jae-woon shared information with job seekers as a Youth Employment Supporter, informing local youth about youth employment information. He was recognized for sharing job concerns with students and effectively distributing job information.
Consultant Je Min-hee acted as a mentor for the supporters.
Kim Jae-woon said, “Through supporter activities, I was able to access a lot of employment and labor policy information and learn about various news and benefits related to employment. The good results I achieved in my last external activity before graduation were thanks to the diverse Dongmyung University non-curricular employment and start-up programs and the support of the employment consultant.”
Consultant Je Min-hee said, “I feel great pride that a Dongmyung University student was selected as an outstanding supporter for the first time this year. It was very meaningful to help a student who combined passion and content creation skills to carry out effective SNS promotion.”

Dongmyung University Job Center Director Shin Dong-seok praised, “They focused on promoting the Ministry of Employment and Labor’s employment and start-up policies and programs to revitalize the job market frozen by COVID-19. They effectively carried out notification activities using SNS, blogs, and YouTube suited to the untact environment,” adding, “They greatly contributed to raising awareness of youth employment policies among the youth in the Busan area.”
