Martial Arts, 'Online and Offline Korean Products Exhibition and Consultation' Held in Ho Chi Minh
[Asia Economy Reporter Hwang Yoon-joo] The Korea International Trade Association (KITA) held the "Vietnam Online and Offline Korean Products Exhibition and Consultation" on the 17th (local time) at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC) in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
The event, held over three days until the 19th, featured exhibition booths from 32 excellent small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and mid-sized companies from six regions including Seoul, Gyeonggi, Gangwon, Incheon, Chungbuk, and Jeju, aiming to open export channels to Vietnam.
Since local business trips became difficult due to COVID-19, KITA provided each company booth with video consultation equipment, one staff member responsible for company introduction and product explanation, and one interpreter to support over 200 online video consultations with about 80 pre-matched Vietnamese buyers over the three days. Additionally, they supported extra consultations with buyers requesting consultations on-site while touring the exhibition booths.
Moreover, during the same period, in connection with the "Vietnam International Premium Consumer Goods Exhibition" held at COEX, they invited Bao Hang, a former Miss Vietnam who is active as a singer, actress, and model, along with local professional show hosts to conduct live promotional broadcasts on-site.
