The agreement involved the Korea Airports Corporation, the Small and Medium Business Corporation, and the Korea Federation of Micro Enterprise.
The Korea Trade Insurance Corporation plans to establish an export promotion store within Jeju Airport by February next year and provide multifaceted support to the small and medium enterprises entering the store.
The corporation will offer various export finance solutions to these companies, including export credit guarantees that support financing, short-term export insurance that covers the risk of uncollected export receivables, and importer credit investigations to discover new buyers.
The four organizations will support the activation of exports by small and medium enterprises through providing and operating stores within Jeju Airport, policy fund loans, online and offline marketing, and discovering export companies.
