On the 16th, both parties signed a strategic business agreement to expand distribution and logistics cooperation services and support small business owners.
Through this agreement, the Korea Post will handle the entire logistics process including receipt, storage, shipment, delivery, and inventory management of 24-hour cutoff products in the 11st same-day shipping service via the Daejeon Postal Logistics Center. This will enable nationwide next-day delivery service. The Korea Post expects improvements in delivery services for ordered products, reduction in logistics costs for sellers, and increased sales due to extended cutoff times.
The Korea Post will also provide the 'Win-Win Delivery' service through post office courier starting next year. Win-Win Delivery is a product designed for small business owners such as startups and SOHO sellers who find it difficult to contract courier services due to small shipment volumes. If small business owners apply through the 11st seller site, 11st sellers can conveniently use courier services at low costs regardless of shipment volume. For shipments of 10 or more items at once, direct pickup by the post office is also available. To celebrate the launch, a discount on courier fees will be offered to new subscribers for three months.
Park Jongseok, head of the Korea Post, said, "We hope this agreement will serve as an opportunity to foster a healthy courier culture in the e-commerce market and strengthen the online sales capabilities of local small business owners such as startups."
