[Special Stock] TerraScience to Supply Masks to California State Government for 5 Years... 'Strong Performance'
[Asia Economy Reporter Yoo Hyun-seok] Terra Science is showing strong performance. The news that it will supply masks to the California state government in the United States appears to have had an impact.
As of 11:52 AM on the 16th, Terra Science was trading at 2,260 KRW, up 4.39% (95 KRW) compared to the previous trading day.
According to the California state government and the Los Angeles (LA) Consulate General on the 15th (local time), Korean quarantine company Terra Science won a mask supply contract by participating in a public bid issued by the California Department of General Services (DGS).
The California state government conducted this bid targeting about 100 domestic U.S. companies and overseas firms to meet the increased demand for masks due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Fewer than 10 companies, including Terra Science, were selected as mask suppliers.
