Motrex Wins Innovation Award at CES for UVC Sterilization Wireless Charger Product

On the 16th, Motrex announced that it received the Innovation Award in the Vehicle Intelligence & Transportation category at the world's largest consumer electronics exhibition, 'CES 2021 (Consumer Electronics Show)'.
The product that won the Innovation Award is a cup holder-type ultraviolet (UVC) sterilization wireless charger that can be applied to various car models. It can sterilize frequently used items such as mobile phones, smart keys, and masks, operating for about 10 minutes with two 3.5mW UVC LEDs to provide sterilization. The product indicates the sterilization status with an LED lamp and features a translucent cover that allows users to check the internal status. It also offers adjustable mounting angles for driver space optimization and convenience.

A Motrex official stated, "Due to COVID-19, global demand for personal hygiene has increased, and interest in in-vehicle sterilization products has surged. Developing products that proactively reflect these trends was the driving force behind this award." He added, "Motrex has already confirmed its competitiveness in in-vehicle environmental products through air purifier sales in India. The UVC sterilization wireless charger developed by Motrex is also receiving calls from automakers, and along with air purifiers, we confidently believe it has sufficient capabilities as a representative in-vehicle environmental product."
