Honam University and Gwangju Health University Sign MOU for Joint University Development
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Gwan-woo] Honam University announced on the 15th that it signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for joint development between the two universities with Gwangju Health University at the faculty meeting room.
Through this agreement, the two universities agreed to jointly operate educational and academic programs, exchange professors and classes, share university facilities and resources, collaborate on extracurricular educational programs, mutually exchange academic information such as publications, books, and educational materials, and jointly develop information and human exchanges as well as joint educational curricula.
They also decided to operate a practical working-level consultative body between the universities on a regular basis to establish a substantial partnership.
Park Sang-chul, president of Honam University, said, “We are accelerating the establishment of innovative measures for educational curricula and extracurricular educational programs that can actively respond to changes in future society. Taking this agreement with Gwangju Health University, the nation's top prestigious health university, as an opportunity, we will further strengthen extracurricular educational programs.”

Jung Myung-jin, president of Gwangju Health University, said, “We will build a strong partnership with Honam University, a leading AI (Artificial Intelligence) university, and focus on fostering both regular curricula and extracurricular educational program foundations.”
