Hampyeong-gun, Consecutive 2 Years Overall 'Best Excellence' in Local Government Health Promotion Evaluation

The integrated health promotion project is a program implemented according to regional characteristics and resident demands, aiming to practice healthy living, prevent chronic diseases, and manage the health of vulnerable groups.
Every year, the Ministry of Health and Welfare comprehensively evaluates and awards the operational performance and best practices of integrated health promotion projects conducted in the previous year across 252 local governments nationwide.
Last year, Hampyeong-gun systematically promoted customized integrated health management projects for the elderly, children, and women, operating step-by-step programs suitable for health levels at each life cycle stage.
In addition, it received high praise for resolving blind spots in healthcare by promoting a visiting health promotion project for medically vulnerable groups with mobility difficulties, winning the Ministry of Health and Welfare institutional commendation along with a prize of 13.2 million won.
