KAMCO Donates 1,024 Books and 20,000 Masks to Busan Libraries and Others
Delivery of Donated Books and Sharing Items from Employees
[Asia Economy Reporter Sunmi Park] On the 15th, Korea Asset Management Corporation (KAMCO) held a donation ceremony for sharing goods for residents of Nam-gu, Busan Metropolitan City, attended by Shin Heung-sik, KAMCO Chief Operating Officer, and Park Jae-beom, Mayor of Nam-gu, Busan.
KAMCO donated a total of 1,024 books, including children's books, economics, and new releases, personally contributed by its employees, to five small libraries such as ‘Deulkkoch Iyagi’ in Daeyeon-dong, Nam-gu, Busan, and plans to distribute 20,000 masks evenly to multi-use facilities in the area.
This donation event was organized by KAMCO, which has opened 26 small libraries nationwide called KAMCO Libraries, to support the cultural life of residents in Nam-gu, Busan, and to prevent infectious diseases in multi-use facilities.

Shin Heung-sik, KAMCO Chief Operating Officer, said, “We hope the items delivered by KAMCO employees will help revitalize the cultural life of local residents, which has been constrained by COVID-19,” and added, “KAMCO will continue to practice regional coexistence through thorough quarantine measures and sharing.”
