Shinhan Card Signs Business Agreement with 'Danawa' to Strengthen Online Car Platform
Establishing a Collaborative Partnership System Aligned with the Online Car Purchase Paradigm
[Asia Economy Reporter Ki Ha-young] Shinhan Card announced on the 15th that it has signed a business agreement with 'Danawa,' Korea's leading comprehensive price comparison platform. The agreement aims to revitalize the online platform by strengthening automobile-related content.
The signing ceremony took place at Danawa's headquarters in Yangcheon-gu, Seoul, with Shinhan Card's Multi Finance Group Head Choi In-seon and Danawa CEO Ahn Jing-hyun, along with other officials, in attendance.
Through this agreement, both companies will share automobile-related content provided by Danawa, such as vehicle information and popular model rankings, and offer customized information to customers considering car purchases by recommending optimal automobile financial products through Shinhan Financial Group's integrated automobile platform, 'Shinhan My Car.'
Going forward, Shinhan Card and Danawa agreed to promote joint marketing using both platforms, continuously develop independent content and collaborative models, and pursue long-term cooperation plans across various areas.
A Shinhan Card official stated, "With the post-COVID era, the paradigm of car purchasing is expected to shift from offline to online," adding, "Shinhan My Car aims to become a comprehensive digital platform and the go-to online automobile platform by linking total automobile-related services and tents."

Meanwhile, 'Shinhan My Car,' launched by integrating Shinhan Bank's 'My Car' and Shinhan Card's 'My Auto,' offers a unified credit limit inquiry service that allows users to compare Shinhan Financial Group's automobile financial products at a glance and view integrated available limits. Since its launch, the platform has attracted up to 43,000 daily visitors.
