[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Seongbuk-gu (Mayor Lee Seung-ro) signed a business agreement on the 9th with Homeplus Wolgok Branch (hereinafter Homeplus) to alleviate parking difficulties by opening and sharing 100 parking spaces in the Homeplus attached parking lot for residents for two years.
According to this agreement, Homeplus will provide 100 parking spaces in the attached parking lot, the district will support the maintenance of the parking facilities, and Seongbuk-gu Urban Management Corporation, as the operating entity, will manage it under a resident-priority parking system.
With this agreement, residents can use 100 parking spaces in the Homeplus attached parking lot as regular parking spaces. The parking lot on the 5th basement floor will be open for two years, during which time 24-hour parking is available with a monthly pass costing 30,000 KRW, which is cheaper than resident-priority parking.
The district currently opens and shares 1,274 parking spaces in 75 attached parking lots of buildings such as apartments, religious facilities, and office buildings in the area, contributing to spreading the shared value of "sharing and cooperating benefits everyone."
