New Public Diplomacy in the Contactless Era, Online Exhibition
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Cheol-young] The Ministry of Foreign Affairs will hold a special virtual reality (VR) exhibition titled "Dream Believer," delivering messages of comfort in the COVID-19 era, online from the 15th of this month until March 15th of next year.
So far, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has introduced Korean art to people around the world through exhibitions aimed at enhancing the national image during major diplomatic events. This year, due to the COVID-19 situation, they planned a non-face-to-face online exhibition incorporating virtual reality technology for the first time.
This exhibition showcases works by 13 representative Korean artists active in various genres such as painting, photography, sculpture, and installation art, including Ro Wajeong, Jeong Yeondu, and Muen, set against the backdrop of the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Germany.
This exhibition, accessible to anyone for free online, is part of efforts to continue cultural communication despite the COVID-19 situation, conveying messages of hope and comfort to people worldwide and seeking solidarity within the international community.
