On the 19th, "Run Freely" Online Event Held... Video Broadcast via Dongjak Youth Culture House YouTube Channel ▲Youth Talent Performances ▲Talent Sharing Kit Delivery ▲Real-time Comment Event for Sharing and Communication
[Asia Economy Reporter Jong-il Park] Dongjak-gu (Mayor Chang-woo Lee) will hold the youth gathering event "Run Freely" online on the 19th for teenagers and residents.
As part of the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family's Youth Gathering project, "Run Freely" is a youth-led local cultural event planned, operated, and evaluated entirely by teenagers.
Especially this year, due to the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic, the event will be conducted in a non-face-to-face format by pre-recording and online broadcasting, themed "It's okay despite COVID-19," providing a time for youth to showcase their talents.
The district strictly followed quarantine rules such as ▲wearing masks ▲using hand sanitizer ▲checking body temperature during the filming last month.
From 3 PM to 5 PM, through the Dongjak Youth Culture House YouTube channel, the event will feature ▲a congratulatory video from the mayor ▲talent performances by youth clubs including dance clubs (Manwol, Miro, Cuzz), cheerleading club (Haeoreum), theater club (OnAir), and hip-hop club (Baekya) ▲distribution of talent-sharing experience kits (mask straps, design postcards) ▲and a real-time comment event.
For more details, inquiries can be made to the Child and Youth Division.
The district plans to create a "Youth Creative Innovation Experience Space" by 2021, utilizing an underground bunker, an idle space in Noryangjin Neighborhood Park in Daebang-dong, to expand infrastructure where youth can foster creativity.
