Lecture on "7-Step Reading Method" for Raising Children Who Read Books Independently Every Day: "How to Guide Children's Reading Without Nagging" from 10 AM to 12 PM on the 16th
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Jungnang-gu (Mayor Ryu Kyung-gi) has prepared a non-face-to-face lecture to provide children with an enjoyable reading experience.
The district is recruiting 100 participants on a first-come, first-served basis until the 14th for the lecture by author Jeon Anna, who wrote "Elementary One Book a Day Reading Method."
The lecture, titled "How to Guide Children to Read Books on Their Own Without Nagging," will be held on the 16th from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. It is designed to explore the "7-step reading method" that helps children grow into self-motivated readers daily, based on Jeon Anna's book "Elementary One Book a Day Reading Method."
The "7-step reading method" is divided into seven stages, including the optimal timing for reading guidance, the best reading methods for different age groups, motivation techniques, and recommended books. It contains vivid experiences the author learned while raising an elementary school child, which is expected to assist parents in guiding their children's reading.
Additionally, this lecture covers various topics such as the importance of reading during early childhood and lower elementary school years linked to reading 1,000 books before school, the necessity of reading in the digital age, and reading guidance by developmental stage and age.
The lecture will be conducted online via Zoom. Residents who wish to participate can apply through the resident participation board on the Jungnang-gu Office website.
