Hanwha Solutions Simultaneously Obtains Compliance and Anti-Corruption Management Certifications
[Asia Economy Reporter Hwang Yoon-joo] Hanwha Solutions has become the first company in the chemical and energy industry to simultaneously obtain international standard certifications for compliance and anti-corruption management systems. This demonstrates its commitment to gaining trust from shareholders and customers through transparent global-level management and expanding ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) management.
Hanwha Solutions announced on the 11th that it received international standard certificates for the Compliance Management System (ISO 19600) and the Anti-Corruption Management System (ISO 37001) from the Korea Management Certification Institute, an accredited certification body.
'ISO 19600' is an international standard developed by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) that evaluates whether compliance policies and compliance risk management meet global standards and are effectively operated. 'ISO 37001' is awarded to companies that have established internal systems to prevent corruption such as bribery, kickbacks, and illicit payments.
Hanwha Solutions stated, "With the simultaneous acquisition of compliance and anti-corruption management system certifications as a milestone, we will continue to strive to become a sustainable global-level company."
