Yeosu YWCA and LG Chem Yeosu Plant Deliver 'Warm December Meals' Sharing
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Hyung-kwon] Yeosu YWCA and LG Chem Yeosu Plant conducted a handmade food box sharing project for multicultural and youth families in the region to celebrate the end of the year.
The "Warm Table of December" sharing project, sponsored by LG Chem Yeosu Plant, delivered various food boxes with the intention of providing a warm meal to families struggling with dining out due to COVID-19.
On this day, Yeosu YWCA directors, committee members, and staff personally made pork cutlets, and Y-Teen (Yeosu YWCA youth club) packaged them together with heartfelt letters. A minimal number of people, adhering to COVID-19 personal quarantine guidelines, visited and delivered the boxes to 30 multicultural and youth families.
Yeosu YWCA and LG Chem Yeosu Plant stated that through this sharing project, they hope to provide emotional support to multicultural and youth families in the region and to contribute, even if slightly, to overcoming the COVID-19 crisis for vulnerable groups.
