Information Industry Cooperative Donates 40 Million Won to SME Sarang Nanum Foundation
[Asia Economy Reporter Moon Hyewon] The Korea Information Industry Cooperative announced on the 11th that it donated 40 million won to the Small and Medium Business Love Sharing Foundation to help underprivileged groups overcome COVID-19.
The donation was raised through voluntary contributions from cooperative members to deliver love and support to communities struggling due to the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19).
Han Byungjun, chairman of the cooperative who attended the donation ceremony, said, “We delivered the donation with the spirit of overcoming the difficult economic situation caused by COVID-19 together with the local community,” and added, “We will continue to take the lead in coexisting with the community and spreading a culture of continuous sharing.”

The cooperative was established in 1981 and has built the national informatization infrastructure through computer system integration consulting, software development and supply, joint purchasing and sales, and support projects for market expansion and export.
