The Win-Win Growth Committee held its 64th meeting on the 10th at the Federation of Korean Industries building in Yeouido, Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul, and announced that the number of companies subject to the Win-Win Growth Index evaluation next year has been finalized at 218.
Nonghyup Hanaro Distribution, Hanwha Systems, Hyundai Construction Equipment, TCIS, and Ssangyong Construction will be added, and Clean Nara and KG Dongbu Steel, which were previously exempted from evaluation, will be re-included as evaluation targets.
On the other hand, Nonghyup Distribution, The Face Shop, Descente Korea, Doosan Construction, Taepyeongyang Mills, and Hansol Textile, which were included in the evaluation targets until this year, will be excluded due to reasons such as sale, merger, or business closure. Lotte Mart and Lotte Super will be integrated and evaluated as Lotte Shopping (Mart division).
The Win-Win Growth Committee adjusted and announced the grades for seven companies whose grade announcements were deferred due to reviews of violations of the Subcontracting Act at the time of the 2019 Win-Win Growth Index announcement in September this year.
Lotte Data Communication Company, GS Construction, Hanon Systems, Hanwha Aerospace, and Nonghyup Distribution, which received corrective orders or fines or higher penalties, were downgraded by one grade. Lotte Super and Hyundai Heavy Industries maintained a 'Normal' grade.
HDC Hyundai Development Company (Good) and POSCO Construction (Excellent), whose administrative penalties have not yet been finalized, will have their previously deferred grades announced as is, but if penalties for legal violations are confirmed in the future, they will be reflected in next year's evaluation.
At the meeting, the Committee also revised the 'Operational Guidelines for the Calculation and Announcement of the Win-Win Growth Index' to award additional points for efforts to overcome the COVID-19 pandemic early in next year's evaluation. Furthermore, it decided to comprehensively evaluate various win-win cooperation activities by large corporations, such as technological collaboration for self-reliance in materials, parts, and equipment.
