[Asia Economy Reporter Park Sun-mi] IBK Industrial Bank of Korea announced on the 10th that it has improved the environment of the Daegu Daesin-dong Sock Alley and launched a joint brand through ‘IBK Hope Design’.
The old storefront signs of 19 stores in the alley were newly designed and replaced, and a promotional booth and photo zone (mural) were created at the entrance of the alley, completely transforming the entire alley. A brand called ‘Dalgu Socks’ was launched and joint usage rights were provided so that merchants could sell their products under the new brand.
To wish for increased sales and market development, the first products under the ‘Dalgu Socks’ brand were donated to the medical staff and patients of Daegu Dongsan Hospital, a dedicated COVID-19 hospital, adding significance to the initiative.

An IBK Industrial Bank of Korea official said, “The launch of the ‘Dalgu Socks’ brand goes beyond environmental improvements such as existing sign design and replacement to provide more practical help to small business owners,” and added, “We will continue to create good cases of coexistence with small business owners and SMEs through ‘IBK Hope Design’.”
