Three Family Members Confirmed with COVID-19 in Damyang

According to the county on the 10th, the current cumulative number of confirmed cases in the county is six, and the infected family is presumed to have been infected by patient number 153 from Geumcheon-gu, Seoul.
The confirmed family gathered at their parents' house in Yeonggwang from the 4th to the 5th to make kimchi, then moved to their home in the afternoon to continue the gathering, and separated on the 6th.
The confirmed family visited the county health center around 11 a.m. the previous day for specimen collection and received a positive diagnosis around 7:30 p.m.
As a result of the epidemiological investigation, disinfection was completed at the facilities visited by the confirmed patients, and contacts visited the health center screening clinic for specimen collection and are awaiting results.
The confirmed family was transferred to Gangjin Medical Center the previous day and is currently in isolation treatment. Emergency disinfection was conducted at the confirmed patients' residence and surrounding areas, and the occurrence of confirmed cases was announced through disaster text messages and the county website.
