Seoul City Announces Four Candidates for Grade 3 Promotion
[Asia Economy Reporter Jo In-kyung] Seoul City announced on the 9th that it has nominated four individuals for promotion to Grade 3, equivalent to director level, in the regular personnel reshuffle effective January 1 next year.
Kang Seon-seop, Audit Officer; Kim Tae-myeong, Budget Officer; Kim Gyeong-tak, Head of Cultural Policy Division; and Han Yu-seok, Head of River Management Division were announced as the promotion candidates. The new assignments will be determined in the regular personnel reshuffle.

Kim Tae-gyun, Administrative Director of Seoul City, explained, "This Grade 3 promotion was given to executives who responded steadily and achieved results in areas such as the four supplementary budget preparations for COVID-19 response, overseeing flood control measures during the longest periods of monsoon and typhoons, preventing the spread of COVID-19 infections in religious facilities, and establishing policies to support proactive administration by Seoul city officials."
