The 'Sustainable Management Meritorious Government Awards,' hosted by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and the Ministry of SMEs and Startups, is an award that promotes voluntary sustainable management by companies and encourages outstanding corporate cases.
SK Inc. enhanced social value outcomes through the development of digital platforms aimed at solving social issues, including ▲ Digital SHE (Safety, Health, Environment) services utilizing artificial intelligence (AI), cloud, and big data ▲ AI-based social safety net enhancement services ▲ Youth disabled ICT expert training and employment program 'SIAT (Smart IT Advanced Training)'.
SK Inc. applies SV (Social Value) measurement and management systems across all investment activities and continuously strengthens its SV-based management system, including ESG implementation, to a level that meets global guideline standards.
Last year, SK Inc. created a total social value outcome of 909.3 billion KRW, including 819.4 billion KRW in indirect economic contribution (value contributed indirectly to the domestic economy through corporate activities such as employment, dividends, and taxation), 81.7 billion KRW in business social outcomes (social value generated through product development, production, and sales), and 8.2 billion KRW in social contribution outcomes.
