In the process, the opposition party continued to criticize the ruling party, accusing it of dictatorship. The ruling party immediately retaliated, leading to an unexpected exchange of accusations over dictatorship remarks.
On the day, Joo Ho-young, the floor leader, visited the Legislation and Judiciary Committee meeting room and strongly protested, saying, "Is there nothing you see once you seize power?" and "You should not push through like this." In response, Yoon Ho-jung, the Legislation and Judiciary Committee chairman from the Democratic Party, countered toward the People Power Party members, saying, "(The opposition) have been enjoying the honey of dictatorship all their lives, and now they are accusing the opposing party of dictatorship."
Then, on the 9th, Yoon Hee-sook, a People Power Party lawmaker, posted on her Facebook, fiercely criticizing, "The honey I have tasted all my life is the honey of the 586 activist group." This was a rebuttal to Yoon chairman's remarks, which countered the People Power Party's criticism of the Democratic Party's unilateral handling of the bill as dictatorship.

Rather, it means 'Now that we want to enjoy some honey, you who enjoyed a lot in the past should not interfere,'" and pointed out, "In other words, the mindset that 'we who did not have the chance to enjoy honey before are justified in doing anything now' explains the current behavior of the ruling party."
He continued, "Most of the current central figures in political power are from the class of the 1980s," and argued, "Over the 30 years since graduating from university, what has been most disappointing and familiar is seeing seniors and colleagues who loudly shouted democracy and the people in school days cleverly enjoying the honey as their capital."
He added, "I feel like shouting for anyone who only wants to enjoy the honey to leave," and criticized, "If I, at age 50, feel this way, how much more difficult must it be for young people struggling within limited opportunities."
Meanwhile, as controversy continued over the 'dictatorship honey' remark, Chairman Yoon drew a line against the opposition's claims at the full Legislation and Judiciary Committee meeting on the 9th, saying, "We are moving away from the era when parties were evaluated based on which is more dictatorial or not. That is a story of the past authoritarian era." He added, "In a time when democracy is flourishing, recognition should come through competition of constructive alternatives and how well we can solve the national tasks we face."
On the last day of the regular session, People Power Party lawmakers also protested that the Democratic Party was conducting 'legislative dictatorship' and did not attend the full meeting.
