Local Company 'Jeonju Hyundaiok' Donates 5 Million Won for Beautiful Education Community Award
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Tae-in] Jeonju Hyundaiok, a local company in Jeonbuk (CEO Oh Sang-hyun), donated 5 million won to the Beautiful Education Community Award Committee as an education development fund.
At the donation ceremony held on the 9th, Oh Sang-hyun, CEO of Jeonju Hyundaiok, Hyun Sung-guk, head of the headquarters, Du Jae-gyun, chairman of the Beautiful Education Community Award Committee, Lee Kang-seon, executive chairman, Seo Doo-seok, secretary general, Lee Dae-sung, finance director, Park Se-young, public relations director, and Yoo Yeon-seo, public relations assistant, attended.
Oh Sang-hyun, CEO of Jeonju Hyundaiok, stated, “We deeply appreciate the efforts of the faculty and staff who work for our children, the future, amid the rapidly changing educational environment due to COVID-19, and we will continue to fulfill the social role of our company to contribute to the development of education in Jeonbuk.”
Chairman Du Jae-gyun said, “Although the donation will be given to the awardees, when the awardees and faculty work with pride and fulfillment, the benefits will directly return to our children and the local community, which makes the meaning of this award very significant.”
Meanwhile, the ‘Beautiful Education Community Award’ is an award given to discover and honor ‘true teachers’ who devote themselves sincerely to students without flashy achievements, selected directly by the residents of Jeonbuk. This year marks the second time the award is held, and nominations for the 2nd award are being accepted until the 11th.

The ‘Beautiful Education Community Award Committee’ consists of about 20 civic community members, including operating chairman Du Jae-gyun, executive chairmen Jang Byung-hoon and Lee Kang-seon, and secretary general Seo Doo-seok. The award ceremony is co-hosted with the Jeonbuk Provincial School Operation Committee Chairpersons Association.
