Samsung Heavy Industries Conducts 2021 Executive Personnel Changes... Six Promotions Including Vice President Bae Jin-han
[Asia Economy Reporter Hwang Yoon-joo] Bae Jin-han, Head of Management Support Office at Samsung Heavy Industries, has been promoted to Vice President.
Samsung Heavy Industries announced on the 9th that it has carried out the '2021 Regular Executive Personnel Appointment,' including a total of six promotions: one to Vice President, two to Senior Executive Director, and three to Executive Director.
The newly appointed Vice President Bae graduated with a bachelor's degree in Statistics from Korea University and joined Samsung Heavy Industries' Management Department in August 1989. He worked in the Management Support Team and served as Head of the Management Support Team and Building Business Support Team at Samsung C&T in June 2008. In 2015, he returned to Samsung Heavy Industries as Head of the Management Planning Team and took charge of the Management Support Office.
In addition, Kang Young-gyu, ENI Coral PD, and Ahn Pyung-geun, Production Team 1 Manager, were promoted to Senior Executive Director, and three others were promoted to Executive Director.

A Samsung Heavy Industries official explained, "Since this personnel appointment was made under an emergency management situation, it was conducted based on a performance-oriented personnel principle," adding, "The regular organizational restructuring and position appointments will be completed soon, and we plan to focus on overcoming the crisis and normalizing management."
