[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Dong-wook] Gyeongsangbuk-do Agricultural Research and Extension Services announced on the 8th that it won the Grand Prize at the '2020 Rural Development Excellent Social Media Competition' hosted by the Rural Development Administration.
The Rural Development Administration selects provinces and cities/counties that actively promote digital communication using social media such as YouTube and Facebook every year. In this award, Gyeongbuk Agricultural Research and Extension Services was recognized for its excellent content production achievements, including SNS operation.
Since 2001, Gyeongbuk Agricultural Research and Extension Services has been directly operating 'Gyeongsangbuk-do Agricultural Broadcasting' to provide various agricultural information online, offering content such as the latest agricultural technology lectures, agricultural news, and promotion of outstanding farmers.
In the second half of last year, it launched a YouTube channel to focus on direct communication with farmers by producing over 160 diverse contents including non-face-to-face online education, live broadcasts, agricultural product promotion, and vlogs.
