Jeju Air, "Destinationless Flight" Season 2 on December 31 and January 1
Flying over the West Coast and Pohang at Sunset and Sunrise Times
[Asia Economy Reporter Yu Je-hoon] Jeju Air announced on the 7th that it will conduct the destination-free "Sky Travel in the Air Season 2" in accordance with the sunset and sunrise times on the 31st of this month and January 1st of next year, respectively.
The sunset flight on the 31st will depart from Gimpo International Airport and Gimhae International Airport at 3:50 PM and 4:20 PM, respectively, and will operate for about 2 hours. Both sunset flights departing from Gimpo and Gimhae will pass over the west coast around 5:30 PM, the scheduled sunset time on the day.
The sunrise flight on January 1st of next year will depart from Gimpo Airport and Gimhae Airport at 6:35 AM and 6:55 AM, respectively. These flights will also operate for about 2 hours and will pass over Pohang, Gyeongbuk around 7:30 AM, the scheduled sunrise time on the day.
The flight route for the Gimpo departure is Gimpo~Pohang~Busan~Sacheon~Yeosu~Gwangju~Gimpo, and for the Gimhae departure is Busan~Pohang~Seoul~Gwangju~Yeosu~Sacheon~Busan. When connected, the flight routes form a heart shape, which the company explained symbolizes comfort and support for passengers who had a difficult year due to the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19).
During this destination-free sightseeing flight, Jeju Air JJ Service Team flight attendants will conduct various in-flight events and prizes will be awarded. In particular, all passengers will receive a 2021 Jeju Air planner and a heated neck mask.

Reservations will be available from 2 PM on the same day through the Jeju Air website. Based on total fare, window seats are priced at 129,000 KRW and aisle seats at 99,000 KRW. Jeju Air members can purchase tickets at a discounted price of 20,000 KRW off by using a 10,000 KRW coupon exclusive for the sunrise & sunset products and a 10,000 KRW coupon exclusive for domestic flights.
