Yeonggwang Arts Center Announces 'Next Year's Performance and Exhibition Program Call for Proposals'
[Yeonggwang=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Jeonseong] Jeollanam-do Yeonggwang-gun (Governor Kim Junsung) announced on the 7th that it will hold the ‘2021 Yeonggwang Arts Center Performance and Exhibition Program Contest’ to activate local cultural and artistic activities and satisfy the diverse cultural needs of the residents, creating a space for mutual understanding and communication.
This contest project is conducted to improve the cultural level of residents and realize cultural welfare policies that eliminate cultural disparities.
The county plans to select programs to be operated at the Yeonggwang Arts Center performance hall and exhibition hall.
Eligible applicants include professional artist groups and planning agencies engaged in artistic activities in the fields of performance and exhibition.
The application period is from the 14th of this month to January 29th of next year. Applicants can download the application form from the county office website and submit it by visit, mail, or email.
The submitted performance and exhibition works will be reviewed by the selection committee (Operation Advisory Committee), which will examine artistic quality, suitability, feasibility, etc., and carefully select them by field or genre according to their characteristics.
