[Asia Economy Reporter Geum Bo-ryeong] Myungshin Industry, which showed the highest competition rate in KOSPI history, achieved the so-called 'Ttah-sang' on its first day of listing.
At 9:47 a.m. on the 7th, Myungshin Industry recorded 16,900 won, up 30% (3,900 won) from the opening price of 13,000 won. The public offering price of Myungshin Industry was 6,500 won. 'Ttah-sang' means forming the opening price at twice the public offering price and then hitting the upper price limit.
Myungshin Industry set a new record in KOSPI history with a final competition rate of 1,372.94 to 1 in the public subscription for general investors. More than 14 trillion won was raised in deposits alone.
