Lighting Ceremony of Somang Tree at Headquarters... Open to Local Residents Until January Next Year
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] The Small and Medium Business Corporation (Chairman Kim Hak-do, hereinafter referred to as SBC) announced on the afternoon of the 7th that it will hold a local community donation ceremony and a Hope Tree lighting ceremony with local residents in front of its headquarters in Jinju, Gyeongnam.
SBC plans to minimize the number of attendees and strictly follow the government's COVID-19 prevention guidelines such as wearing masks and social distancing during the event. The event will be attended by SBC and affiliated company executives and employees, as well as local residents. Starting with the local community donation ceremony, the event will proceed with the attachment of wish ornaments by five representatives and the lighting ceremony to illuminate the Christmas Hope Tree with the light of hope.
To practice sharing with neighbors in need at the end of the year, SBC donated funds to local welfare institutions including Haengbokhan Namchon Village, Jinju Christian Childcare Center, and Jinju City Disabled Welfare Center. Starting with this, the 16.5 million won donation fund, voluntarily raised by executives and employees, will be donated to social welfare facilities across the country.
