According to the quarantine authorities, Seoul Metropolitan Government, and other local governments, a total of 459 new confirmed cases were reported nationwide. Since there is still time until midnight when the tally closes, the number of new confirmed cases announced as of midnight on the 7th is expected to increase to around 600. Among the 459 cases, 351 were in the Seoul metropolitan area, and 108 were in non-metropolitan areas.
